Membership Meeting - Monday June 11th, 2018
Come out the Local 3 membership meeting on Monday, June 11th! Sessions will be held at 4:30pm and 6:30pm. The meetings will be in All Saints Church, 230 East 60th Street, between Second and Third Avenues. On the agenda will be Local 3 issues, Childcare Coalition Information, and Good and Welfare.

Last chance this year for FREE help with your taxes
One last workshop to help union members with their tax filing. Come by and get FREE help from tax experts.
Please remember to bring the following:
Social Security cards for you, your spouse and dependents
An Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) assignment letter may be substituted for you, your spouse andyour dependents if you do not have a Social Security number
Proof of foreign status, if applying for an ITIN
Birth dates for you, your spouse and dependents on the tax return
Wage and earning statements (Form W-2, W-2G, 1099-R, 1099-Misc) from all employers
Interest and dividend statements from banks (Forms 1099)
All Forms 1095, Health Insurance Statements (1095-A, 1095-B, 1095-C)
Health Insurance Exemption Certificate, if received
A copy of last year’s federal and state returns, if available
Proof of bank account routing and account numbers for direct deposit such as a blank check
To file taxes electronically on a married-filing-joint tax return, both spouses must be present to sign the required forms
Total paid for daycare provider and the daycare provider’s tax identifying number such as their Social Security number or business Employer Identification Number
Forms 1095-A, B or C, Affordable Health Care Statements
Copies of income transcripts from IRS and state, if applicable

Representatives from the New York Childcare Coalition will be at Bloomingdale's to answer all your questions about qualifying for childcare benefits. Your Union Representatives will also be present to assist you. Hundreds of your fellow union members have already received thousands of dollars through this special childcare program through the RWDSU. The application process is simple. Be sure to stop by during your break!

23rd Quadrennial RWDSU Convention
You are hereby notified that the 23rd Quadrennial Convention of the Retail, Wholesale and Department Store Union will convene from Thursday, March 1st through Sunday March 4th, 2018.
Furthermore, you are hereby notified that the Eighth Regular Convention of the United Food and Commercial Workers International Union will convene beginning Monday, April 23rd and concluding on Friday, April 27th, 2018.
This will serve to inform you that nomination of delegates to the convention shall take place on Monday, January 22, 2018 at All Saint Church, 230 East 60th Street, New York, New York, 4:30pm and 6:30pm.
